CHST 574 - Mission in the United Methodist Tradition

3 credits
This course will: 1. Provide a general introduction to the biblical, historical, and theological foundations for mission, 2. Introduce current issues and themes in mission theory and practice, 3. Help the participant discern his or her own approach to mission, including theological, contextual, and practical aspects, and 4. Meet the ordination requirement for elders and deacons in the United Methodist Church. Course may be repeated.
