ANTH 212 - Anthropology of Gender4 credits A study of gender across cultures and of the key perspectives produced by anthropologists to analyze it. The course explores how gender is produced, lived, contested, and intertwined with other social categories through ethnographic research of the everyday, livelihoods, labor, kinship, and ritual.
