4 credits An exploration of the history, style, and techniques of writing for the musical theatre through the collaboration of composer, playwright, and lyricist. Course work will include development of original material. Enrollment priority: Given to Theatre Arts and Music majors. Prerequisite: THEA 255 or MUS 260, or permission of instructor.
