HIST 357 - The Vietnam War4 credits This course focuses on United States involvement in Vietnam from World War II through the end of the Vietnam War. The course will examine such issues as imperialism, war, revolution, nation building, nationalism, insurgency, and terrorism. Through secondary readings, film, and documents, students will explore the diplomatic, economic, social, and political aspects of this decades-long conflict, and ask historical questions as well as to draw independent conclusions.
