HIST 800 - Research Seminar3 credits
The course meets throughout the semester to guide students through the process of writing a research paper. Each student will produce a scholarly paper of publishable quality, 30-40 pages in length, based upon a set of primary sources, and interpreted/analyzed using selected secondary sources and selected methodologies. The tutorial assesses how well students have mastered the elements of primary source research and the apparatus of scholarship.
