ARFA 808 - The Arts of Drew

3 credits

This interdisciplinary seminar course is designed to engage students in Drew’s culture of the arts and higher education. The course will involve readings directed by a select number of events sponsored by the various departments (Theater, Art, Music, Poetry) as well as a session on the Ecology of Drew. Students will have the opportunity to reflect upon the nature of creativity, the formational role of the arts in education, and the psychological, cultural, and spiritual values of the arts programs offered at Drew. A course fee will be required for tickets to any performances attended.
