About the Course

INTC 200 provides students with supervised work experience that enriches theories learned in the classroom, develops sought-after transferable skills, and demonstrates how both are applied in the student’s field of interest. This experience is also an important way to explore possible career pathways while still in college.

Students must have secured an internship prior to registering. Students are required to complete the Student Learning Contract that details the goals and objectives of the internship, explains how the internship involves responsibility within the organization, and demonstrates clear relevance of the internship to LAUNCH and their studies at Drew. Qualified students may also complete an internship through the Federal Community Service Program. Students should consult with interns@drew.edu about the course and internships.

INTC 200   can fulfill the Off-Campus Experience and Immersive Learning requirements. Credits earned through this course can transfer to departmental major/minor requirements. Students registered in this course are eligible to apply for an internship award. Further information related to internships can be found by visiting the Internship Home Page.
