A major in Engineering Physics is designed to provide an ideal pathway for students interested in a career in engineering. The core curriculum is built around the Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry. and Computer Science courses that form the foundational knowledge of engineering. This is not an ABET accredited program.

Requirements for the Major (62 credits)
I. Foundation Courses (24 credits)
II. Advanced Courses (34 credits)
III. Engineering Elective (4 credits)
Note
Students who are not continuing on to the 3+2 Engineering program are recommended to take more upper-level courses in Physics and related disciplines—such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, etc.—so that they are well prepared to take on technical engineering tasks.
