Arts Administration and Museology Minor


All students must take a total of seven courses: two Arts and Society, two Administration and Communications, two Disciplinary Core, and one Internship. At least 16 credits must be at the intermediate- or upper-level.

(Ending Catalog Year: 2018-2019) Replaced by the Arts Administration: Performing Arts Minor and the Museum Studies and Cultural Management Minor.

Students must take at least one additional intermediate- or upper-level course in the discipline of their choice (Art History, Anthropology, Music, or Theatre); see the semester course list. Department designation for this upper level course should coincide with the disciplinary core course. (For Theatre students, this course cannot be the Theatre semester).

Students choose one of the following in consultation with their academic advisor:

IV. Internship (4 credits)


An Internship in an appropriate area of study that is to be approved by advisor and program director. (The Theatre semester may count in this category for Theatre students).

Notes


Students without a disciplinary background should take at least two regular courses in one of the disciplines in conjunction with this minor.

8 lower-level credits may be counted towards the minor.
