Requirements for the Major (50-54 credits)
II. Dramatic Literature (4 credits)
IV. Practical Application (4 Passes)
All students must complete THEA 302 or two passes (in any combination) of THEA 303 and/or THEA 307 , with any combination of the following for a total of four passes.
V. Electives (12 credits)
At least 12 credits from two different areas in the theatre and dance curriculum with a minimum of four credits at the upper level. To be selected in consultation with and approved by the major advisor.
At least four credits must come from the following: VI. Capstone (4 credits)
All students must complete THEA 400 in their junior year. Students then complete the capstone requirement by taking one of the remaining courses in consultation with their advisor. Note:
Note: In consultation with the department, students may choose to complete an honors thesis. Students completing an honors theses should not register for THEA 401 or THEA 402. VII. Departmental Events
Majors are expected to support all department events, but are required to attend opening nights, requisite strikes, majors’ meetings, and designated special events and workshops.
VIII. Departmental Productions
Majors are also expected to attend all departmental productions, both major and workshop, and all special departmental meetings and functions. |
