Programs

Academic English

Students in the Academic English program study intensive English language coursework to prepare for study in a U.S. university.  International students may also enroll in the Academic English program for one or two semesters as a study abroad experience. Academic English students take courses in:  Writing and Grammar; Reading and Vocabulary; Listening and Speaking; and Special Topics.  Placement in Academic English courses is based on a proficiency assessment administered by program faculty upon arrival; students are placed in Levels 1 through 6, contingent on their scores.

Undergraduate Pathway

INTO Drew’s Pathway programs combine intensive language study, academic skills development and academic coursework in a program designed to move students successfully through the first two years of their four-year degree program.  Placement in appropriate EAP courses as part of the Pathway program is based on a proficiency assessment administered by program faculty at the beginning of the program.
