About the Program
The study of the Middle Ages introduces students to a world dramatically different than our own. At the same time, the medieval era has shaped the world we live in today not only in our thought and belief, but also our institutions (universities, hospitals, laws and government), and our literary and artistic production. This program offers students a multidisciplinary approach to these complex societies and encourages students to challenge the notion of what is medieval and what is not.
