About the Program
A minor in Western Heritage, covering antiquity through the Renaissance and early modern Europe, provides focused study of the roots and early history of Western culture. Study of the contributions of the ancient Greeks and Romans and of Medieval and Renaissance history, thought and literature provides a critical basis for a more informed understanding of contemporary culture. The multidisciplinary approach encourages the integration of perspectives from more than one discipline.
