About the Program

To study philosophy is to embark on conceptual exploration. Philosophers seek rational answers to enduring questions about knowledge, reality, value, thought, and language. From the time of Socrates to the present day, philosophers have examined funDardamental presuppositions of science, morality, governance, and art. Philosophy demands close thought. It fosters careful argumentation and clear writing.
