About the Program
The international relations major offers students the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to study interaction of states, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental bodies, transnational corporations, and other non-state actors in the international system. It also provides students the analytic tools with which to compare different political and economic systems, and socio-cultural processes and interaction, while also affording them opportunities to learn a foreign language, study abroad, and learn firsthand how the United Nations works.
