ARLT 107 - The Medieval Mind

3 credits

This course is intended as a sequel to “Dante and his World”;therefore only students who have taken that course or who are very familiar with “The Divine Comedy” should enroll. In addition to an in-depth reading of select cantos of the entire “Commedia”, students will read Dante’s “minor works,” including La Vita Nuova, Il Convivio, de Vulgari Eloquentia, and de Monarchai. Course may be repeated.
