RLSC 778 - Psychology of Violence3 credits Psychological and social systems theories are presented as a basis for understanding individual and social systems of oppression. The research and theories of Freud, Fanon, Kohut, Doi, Memmi, Lambly, Bion, and others serve to analyze situations in which groups are dominated for reasons of race, gender, religion, or nationality.
