BBST 685 - Africana Hermeneutics

3 credits
This is an exploratory course in Africana Hermeneutics, an emergent field within Biblical Studies. We shall explore the intellectual and cultural histories and experiences of Africana peoples’ interpretations of the Bible. Areas of exploration include formal and informal writing, the arts, and other aspects of Africana creativity and productiveness in relation to biblical employments and deployments.
