TPHL 500 - Philosophical Resources for Theology3 credits An examination of philosophy as a distinctive way of thinking and as an influence on and resource for theology. Students read primary texts of such figures as Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Spinoza, and Kant, as well as current thinkers. (Required only for those students in the M.Div. program with no previous work in philosophy.) Corequisite: TPHL 500P . Fall semester annually.
