PSTH 549A - Communication Skills for Liturgical Settings: Reading of the Word1 credits
Focus of instruction is on clarity of expression and effective delivery of the Scriptural text. Emphasis placed on the mastery of English pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm. Students meet with instructor, individually, for a 50-minute class period, once per week. Student readings are videotaped for purposes of analysis and assessment. Note: PASTH+549 A, PSTH 549B , PSTH 549C , PSTH 549D , are offered every semester for non-native speakers of English only. Signature of instructor required for registration.
