PSTH 585 - Sabbath as a Spiritual Practice

3 credits
The notion of “Sabbath” is an ancient one that centers on the necessity of rest for wholeness and healing. Church leaders who are intentional and conscientious about the spiritual journey must include care for body, mind, and spirit. At times, this care is “Sabbath rest.” This course, which may be repeated for credit, will have make use of an experiential pedagogy and will focus on assisting leaders and scholars in incorporating practices of Sabbath into their wellness regimen. Course may be repeated.
