PSTH 600 - Writing for Wor(d)ship3 credits The word “worship” is from Old English and means, “to honor or esteem the being of another.” Through the holy, human art of language, communities can be created and individual lives enriched. The discipline of writing builds confidence, clarity and creativity in speech as well as the written word. This course will concentrate on writing for public worship, and focus on creating, revising, and leading original prayers, liturgies, hymns, and meditations.
