CSOC 576 - Hispanic Religion and Culture: Church, State, and Immigration

3 credits
Introduction to history, culture, economics, and politics of the Hispanic presence in the United States. In addition to lectures, this course uses feature films, novels, and short stories by and about U.S. Hispanics and Latinas/os to stimulate reflection, discussion, and research on its subject matter. The religious dimension of the U.S. Latina/o experience is highlighted. Same as: RLSOC+722.
