BBST 685 - Africana Hermeneutics

3 credits
Explores Africana Biblical Hermeneutics as a subset of Africana Diaspora Studies. Studies the intellectual and cultural experiences of Africana peoples as a resource for biblical interpretation. Areas of exploration include formal and popular arts, literature, history, and philosophy. Provides the material for the development of an Africana biblical hermeneutic. Prerequisites: BBCL 505  or BBCL 506 .
