AREL 835 - The Poetry of Robert Frost3 credits
Centers on a close reading of about two dozen poems, but, by grouping others around this core, students survey the poet’s whole output. Following Frost’s notion of “sentence sounds,” discussions may rely heavily on oral interpretation, both listening to recorded performances and working with our own voices in the classroom. Each participant may get to choose one of the poems that are discussed as a group.
