ENV 395 - Research in Environmental Science4 credits Independent study of a specific question in environmental science through laboratory or field research. Topics are chosen in consultation with an individual environmental science faculty member, who will supervise the research and will establish the number of credits prior to registration. Students are expected to be engaged in activities related to research project at least three hours per week for each credit hour earned. Weekly seminars in addition to regular meetings with research supervisor. Independent library work is required and credit for research is awarded on satisfactory completion of a research presentation and paper. Course is repeatable as topic varies. Prerequisites: ENV 350 .
