ENGH 371 - Major Pre-1900 Author: Seminar4 credits Offers close and focused study, engaged discussion, independent but shared research, and peer-supported writing among a small group of students under the mentorship of a professor. Provides an opportunity for advanced exploration of an author from a period before 1900. Topics may include Chaucer, Langland, the Gawain Poet, Shakespeare, Austen, the Brontes. Melville, James. Course is repeatable as topic varies. Prerequisite: ENGH 150 and ENGH 210
