CHEM 350A - Organic Chemistry II3 credits A continuing systematic study of organic reactions organized on the basis of reaction mechanisms. Topics may include aromaticity, carbonyls, carboxyls, amines, orbital symmetry controlled processes, and organic synthesis. Includes spectroscopic analysis. Discusses classes of compounds of biological significance. Prerequisite: CHEM 250 .
