REL 201 - Intermediate Topics in Religion4 credits Examines topics in the study of religion at the intermediate level and focuses on their relevance within the United States. Introduces students to the nature of religion as a defined area of human experience through beliefs, practices, and cultural identity. Introduces students to methods such as phenomenological, thematic, historical, or comparative perspectives to analyze religious phenomena. Course is repeatable as topic varies. CLA-Breadth/Humanities
