ECON 317 - Contemporary Political Economy4 credits A consideration of the varying interpretations by present-day economists of the current state of the U.S. economy and of the challenges it faces in the 21st century. Topics may include the historical origins and major ideas of such contemporary schools of economic thought as neo-conservatism, post-Keynesian liberalism, and ecological/humanistic economics.
