BST 310 - Management4 credits Presents major topics in management and provides tools for understanding, analyzing and critiquing the management structures and practices of organizations. Emphasizes contemporary issues in management, including–but not limited to–environmental and social concerns. Students will have the opportunity to learn and apply fundamental concepts from management practice and research through diverse materials such as case studies, movies, podcasts and readings. Class discussions focus on the role of business in shaping the world the role managers play in that process. Assignments encourage teamwork as well as reflective skills.
