EAP 503 - Graduate Skills II: Reading and Writing3 credits Provides further study in academic reading and writing skills for international students undertaking graduate pathway program. Continues building skills in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary for use in graduate coursework. Includes reading passages from authentic texts, as well as summarizing and paraphrasing passages from texts. Develops skills in research and long-form academic writing. Focuses on constructing an IMRD research project to practice and apply various aspects of graduate research and writing.
Student Profile: Students taking this course are enrolled in the second semester of the Graduate Standard Pathway program and have completed EAP 501 with a course grade of C- or better.
