RUSS 106 - Intensive Elementary Russian II4 credits An intensive study of the fundamentals of Russian grammar, incorporating training in the four basic language skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening comprehension. Students will complete a study of the Russian case and verbal systems. Supplementary readings in Russian culture and extensive use of Web based materials. This course will cover Chapters 6-10 of the Golosa I textbook, including extensive work in speaking and listening comprehension. Open to students who have completed RUSS 105 or RUSS 101/103 or the equivalent or demonstrate comparable background skills. (Equivilent to RUSS 102/104 during the regular academic year).
Prerequisites: RUSS 101 and RUSS 103 , or RUSS 105 . Offered Summer only.
