HIST 304 - Selected Topics in Global History

2-4 credits
A study of a global historical theme or topic that uses a methodological approach or viewpoint not fully explored within the departmental offerings. Topics vary according to student interest and faculty expertise, but will consider the construction of social difference, hierarchal power relations and inequalities between groups in at least one country other than the United States. These courses will also consider the ways that global forces have shaped the experiences of individuals and groups in countries outside the U.S. May be repeated for credit as topic varies. Enrollment restricted to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Enrollment priority: Priority given to history majors. Check department listing for offering.
