THEA 307 - Theatre Practice: Design for Dance1 credits A study of the process of design through the experience of designing the department’s dance season. Classroom discussion/presentation focuses on works in progress, with special emphasis on the problems of creating and executing a design for dance; working with choreographers, other designers, technicians and crew; drafting and rendering techniques. Enrollment is required of all students designing sets, lights or costumes, in the dance season, in the second half of a given semester. Theatre arts majors: up to two total credits of THEA 301-309, THEA 313, 314, 315, 318 or 319 per semester; up to a total of six credits can be counted toward the degree. Prerequisite: THEA 120 or THEA 220 Offered in the second half of every semester.
