PSYC 351 - Learning and Behavior4 credits This course examines the mechanisms of learning, with content derived from human and non-human research. Topics include non-associative learning, classical conditioning, instrumental conditioning, observational learning, drug addiction, and the biological substrates of learning. In addition to examining basic learning mechanisms, the course explores the ways in which principles derived from basic research are applied in education and clinical settings. Prerequisite: PSYC 211 , NEUR 210 or permission of instructor.
