MATH 335 - Abstract Algebra

A survey of modern algebra. Integral domains, fields, groups, rings, ideals, applications. Prerequisite: C- or better in MATH 310 - Foundations of Higher Mathematics .  Corequisite: MATH 303 - Linear Algebra .  Offered spring semester in even years.
