INTF 501 - Global Faiths and the Earth

3 credits
This course lays a foundations for the work of interfaith communication, coalition-building, and leadership by exploring the respective attitudes and practices of various faith traditions toward the earth and the shared challenge of the current environmental crisis. Required for all MDiv and some MATM students, the course introduces the teachings and practices of several of the world’s faith traditions while examining the intertwining of local and global environmental issues with economic systems that shape the flourishing or non-flourishing of all.  Prerequisite: BBCL 501. Corequisite: BBCL 501.
