CSOC 587 - Spirituality of Struggle

3 credits
A spirituality of struggle develops as one tries to make sense of the uncertainties and changes in life. This course explores one’s struggles with identity, change, stress, anger, suffering, vocation, prayer and acceptance as God calls us into our deepest being as we become aware of God’s presence in the midst of life’s struggles. Designed for those who are preparing for or who currently serve in pastoral and lay ministries, members of religious communities, healthcare, social work and psychology professionals, and anyone desiring to deepen their awareness of God’s presence in their lives.
