ENGL 255 - Mapping the Anglo-American Literary Tradition: Twentieth-Century American Literature4 credits Through an examination of represetnative texts from twentieth-century and twenty-first-century American literatures. This course teaches students to think historically about literature through tracing a set of key concepts such as author, reader, theme, form, culture and intertexuality. Prerequisite: ENGL 150 .
