MATA 804 - Artisitic Exploration in the Urban Classroom3 credits
In this course, Art Education candidates work with an urban school art instructor to develop a unique artistic work that reflects the school and community. Coursework includes a minimum of 20 hours in a classroom in a high needs school, working collaboratively with art educators, students, administrators and professional artists. Instructional planning and reflective writing are included as course requirements.
