BBST 690 - Myths, Dreams, and Visions in Biblical and Classical Literature

3 credits

Dreams play an important role in divine communication for various events in literary milieu of the Bible. This course will survey dreams and their interpretation in the ancient world as an aspect of mythologizing language of power, authority, and various religio-social negotiations.
