THEA 220 - Theatre Design4 credits An introduction to the theory, process, and techniques of set, lighting, and costume design. Students will learn how to create and express information in 3 dimensions using, established drafting practices, creating scale models, drawings, and light plots. Painting and rendering techniques will be explored in costume and set renderings. The course will also include principles and dynamics of design, the development of a design concept, script analysis from the designer’s perspective, and color theory. Lecture/lab format. This course has a course fee of $40. Course fee: $30 Prerequisite: THEA 101 , THEA 120 or equivalent. Offered each semester. CLA-Quantitative
