ECON 301 - Intermediate Microeconomic Theory4 credits A theoretical analysis of resource allocation in a market economy. Topics include the theory of consumer behavior, production, and costs; decision making under various market conditions; general equilibrium and welfare economics. Student must earn a grade of C or better in this course to satisfy the major requirements. Prerequisite: ECON 101 or equivalent. Recommended: MATH 115 or MATH 150 or MATH 151 . Every semester.
