BBST 693 - Faith and Doubt in the Hebrew Bible3 credits The purpose of this course is to explore, in significant detail, some of the exegetical, theological, and literary questions/themes associated with the interpretations of the book of Job. Although the primary text shall be the English version, there shall be occasional refrences to the Hebrew and Greek versions of the text. Secondary readings shall be largely drawn from the works of Biblical scholars, psychologists, philosophers, and narrative ethicists alike to provide a multidimensional approach to the interpretation of the text.
