MAT 810 - Differentiated Instruction for Children with Exceptional Needs

3 credits
This course provides students with an understanding of the major types of learning disabilities. They study current special education law and learn how to interpret and institute an IEP. In addition, they learn how to modify curriculum to accommodate students’ learning needs as well as to integrate differentiated instruction into the Understanding by Design framework.
