RLSC 749 - Sexual Ethics3 credits
This course introduces a range of critical approaches to sexual ethics and contemporary debates about standards for public sexual morality, emphasizing the relationship between race/ethnicity and sexuality. The approaches and debates are centered primarily upon cultural contexts in the United States and the role of religion–primarily, though not exclusively, Christianity. Theoretical approaches include science, philosophy, history, and religious ethics. Interdisciplinary course.
