PSTH 656 - Leadership Development: Non-Violent Communication and Wisdom3 credits
The course focuses on the development of leadership through an improvement in non-violent communication skills and a sense of wisdom. The theoretical work will be based on Heinz Kohut’s self psychology and Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication. The course will heavily engage with one’s own communication and decision-making patterns in order to develop non-violent communication skills and foster a sense of wisdom by paying attention to one’s self, another or others, the context, the purpose, the timing, and the how’s. Verbatims will thus be the main instrument for the learning process.
