MAT 831 - Biology of the Mind3 credits An introduction to the biological basis for the mental processes by which we think, perceive, learn, and remember. General topics include anatomical organization of brain function, how cells in the brain communicate with each other, and the interplay between nature versus nurture in neural development. Does not meet requirements for major or minor in biology. Meets: Four hours of class. Annually.
