ENGL 252 - Mapping the Anglo-American Literary Tradition: Nineteenth-Century British Literature4 credits Through an examination of representative texts from nineteenth-century British literature, this course teaches students to think historically about literature through tracing a set of key concepts such as author, reader, theme, form, culture, and intertextuality.
